Using Technology To Troubleshoot

When 3 out of 5 compressors are tripped on oil pressure failure and the oil system is functioning normally and there is obvious liquid in the oil reservoir, it’s time to look for a circuit flooding back.
The source of the problem was a bad temperature sensor on the coil outlet of a fresh meat case. Once the sensor was replaced, the SMS (superheat management system) returned to normal operation.
